finally found a tyre that grips on wet grass and goes through a little mud without tripping the asr off and eventually getting bogged. l have tried 4 different tyre manufactures and disabling the asr to spin me out of country properties but no real luck. the problem is tyre tyre size...

I hope somebody can help me. My father in law has a Mercedes 280CE 1984 model W123 and i'm trying to get him a set of OEM mud flaps for Christmas, but keep drawing a blank. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Failing that OEM over mats??

Does anyone have, lying around, a couple of mud flap clamps to hold them onto the inner arch for above vehicle. Been to the dealers......they don't stock them any more. Wanted me to buy a new set of mudflaps if i wanted the clamps :crazy:

About 6 months ago, before I became a MB owner, I had a BMW 328i with traction control...one day I foolishly put one wheel on the mud and stopped to allow a mother + kids who did not know the width of her car to pass on a narrow road....could not get going again as the rear wheel in the mud just...
