    Multi-function steering wheel question

    Ok, I've got one (and I think it's great!) and, amongst other things, it changes the volume and station, etc on my Audio 10 head unit. Will the same audio control features be available with an after-market head unit, specifically a new Alpine? TIA, David.

    Does anyone know if I can change my non multifunction, '97 w210 steering wheel for the later post '99 multifunction type? I know the multifunction switches would not work - or does anyone know a way they would? I just like the later cosmetic style and need to know if the newer type would...
