Currently when I open my W211 with the remote key fob when its dark the headlights come on which is something I expect. What I dont understand is why the lights come on when I open the car during the day. Is there a setting I can alter or is it a fault with the electrics ?

Anyone know if this mod can be done? ierather than have to hold the switch while the roof folds in - goes up - to fix it so that you can let go and it will complete the operation. And if so how hard/easy is it and how much is it likely to cost. ta chaps

Hi Does anyone know how to reset the Auto opening and closing feature. I have tryed to hold down the lock button on the remote whilst pointing it at the driver door but it don't close the windows. Any ideas

Can any of you say how far you boot lid pops when you open it via either the fob or the door switch. I just saw a new E-Class being opened and it opened open fully up where mines only release the catch.
