Some moron has damaged both of my headlights and I need to replace them and was thinking about using the european projector lights. Does anyone here use these and are they any good?

Can anyone help, the bulb holder has come adrift from the headlamp assy, problem is , this holder (which probably costs 20p to manufacture) is not listed as a spare item.Therefore MB are saying i need the full headlamp assy , price £600 !!!!!!!!! Can any one out there help? Many thanks James
