Just come accross problem with wife's SLK.When pulling away it seems to give a bit of a jirk. It drives ok and changes gear ok once moving.Can't check fluid level since it has the black cover on the filler tube.No fault codes showing on elm 327 Any ideas ? Thanks David

Hi, since the battery has been changed on my 1998 slk230k the coolant light has been persistantly on. I have read it could be a pre fuse in the "Secret" fuse box. Has anyone have any idea where this secret fuse box is in the car and also if its not that what it may be causing the problem...

I am planning to clean and then rustproof inside all 4 wheel arches on my 2003 SLK 320, so will need to remove all the wheel arch liners. Does anyone know if it is a simple job to remove the liners or is there anything I need to be aware of ? Any advice would be welcome !

I hope you guys can help, The problem is that the main beam lamps work when the light stalk is pulled to flash, however when pushed nothing. I have read in another forum that it could be a relay, the main light switch or the stalk. Has anyone had any experience of this as any input would help...
