    I changed my stat temp gauge now reads above just above 80 and keeps temp longer than before. Was averaging 31MPG town now 40MPG 40MPG on a run now 47MPG Radiator fan kicks in soon as temp gets to 80, not giving it a chance to reach 95 like some people say they can. Haven't noticed fan...

    v230 fashion cooling fan and temp gauge

    hi first post and first mercedes!! i have a v230 fashion and have a couple of problems, only just bought it so a bit gutted.:doh: 1. the cooling fan doesn't kick in when engine gets hot 2. the coolant temp gauge fluctuates badly, jumps from 0-90 constantly so unsure of temperature. 3. a whining...
