Any advice/thoughts about using veg oil in my S211 220 ? Costco's 25lt drums @ 75p/lt are looking increasingly attractive ! a) Will the engine use it OK ? b) Are there any adjustments needed ? c) What is the recommended Veg Oil/Diesel % mix ? d) Any thing else I should know/consider ...

Hi, Has anyone been using veg :devil: oil-sunflower oil in a E300TD. I just would like to know if its really ok, and that i dont cause problems like oil seals in deisel pumps ect! Anyones thoughts on this subject welcomed.

Friend of mine currently using veg oil in his E220 CDI and he reckons it causes no probs at all! I am very sceptical to say least. It is an 02 model same as mine. Is it safe?

Would a one off addition of 20 % raw veg oil into the diesel do any harm to the engine. Thinking about lubrication of the fuel system.Realy just see :confused: king reassurance.
