Looking to fit walnut in my 1992 190E 2.6, as you'll know, it was very rare for it to be fitted on this model and am struggling to get it, apart from new, which is extortiante. I have the ash tray, just looking for the gear surround wood and the heater surround wood. Thanks, Ricky

Any guidance as to where I can get the Burr Walnut auto gearshift surround, and chrome surround for E280 W210 Elegance 1999. Have managed to get matcvhing gear knob and want to give it the finishing touch. Have seen a few on ebay but they are all l/h drive. :bannana:

Hi all. Anyone know of any decent places where you can buy replacement/reconditioned wooden (walnut) dash pieces? Its for a 96 E220 (w124). Would you need to replace all of them to "match" the wood? Cheers S.

How do I tell the difference?, having missed the "how to tell different types of trees from a long way away" part of my education. Seriously tho' I've got this wood stuff on the dash on centre console and would (or wood) like to get a gear lever knob to match. But, is it rosewood or walnut...
