I recently purchased a 96 sl500 which has a few issues, i have a problem with headlamp washers which wont switch off and empty the washer bottle after about 30 seconds. can anyone tell me if there is a washer control unit on this vehicle,also location, [ i have ordered w/shop manual on cd but...

Just doing final spec on new car, and came across "heated windscreen washer system". Does anyone have this fitted? How does it work? It is worth it?

As the title suggests, the washer system on my L reg W124 E220 has stopped working. I've done the basic checks; fuse, connections.....washer fluid, but no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Cheers.

IS anyone able to tell me whether the holes for bumper washers are pre-cut into a replacement bumper on a W163, or whether the bodyshop cut the wholes and then fit a cover on the washers which covers it? I need to buy a replacement bumper and I'm unable to find one with headlight washer holes...

Headlamp washers on a 320CDi W211. The semi-automatic kind that fly out the front when a button is pressed. Zenon headlamps. Does anybody know if these are a legal requirement (C&U) or can I do away with them? Would anybody bother anyway?
