£4K price drops at MB Direct

Haven't looked recently but mb direct often seemed higher priced than local dealer. Could be a dfs type price cut?

I found them substantially more expensive than main dealers.

Hi I found the opposite when I purchased mine, they were cheaper! The customer service was better as well. I enquired about 2 other cars at franchised Mercedes dealers and never even got a call back!

Michael.

They will usually significantly discount on the prices I have found.

Maybe it's a local thing then, my closest MB Direct is Caterham (actually described as Gatwick for some reason).

They were usually £3k to £4k more on the same car than the three local franchised dealers.

I just purchased a year old A-Class from a Main Dealer, I also found MB-Direct (MB Retail now) to be £1000 - £1500 more expensive than the main dealers on the same type of A-Class with more miles

I have dealt with MB Direct in the past with my Dad's previous C-Class, their service is very poor, have a bad reputation for losing service booklets and spare keys. And so not the best of starts for some customers. You may get lucky though and have a good experience.

I personally would stick to main dealers over MB Direct. Also I've heard that most of the AMG Cars that get ragged on the AMG Experience end up as used cars for sale at MB Direct outlets, so I guess if you're thinking of getting a used AMG avoid MB-Direct.

They will definitely haggle.

I was enquiring about a C350cdi sport estate a couple of months back, they dropped the price by £2k, whilst enquiring, and then called me back saying if I would take it before then end of September they would take another £4500 off it, which would have taken it down to £25,500.
