I’m wondering if I need a diagnostic tool to bleed front brakes after replacing brake hoses. Will ICarsoft work or do you need Star.
05 w211 E200k SBS brake bleeding.

Do you need to use a Diagnostic tool ? I changed the fluid and bled the whole brake system on my 2014 e250 and wifes 2012 b200 without any issues last month.

The OP's car has an SBC pump.
I believe it needs bleeding with Star although it may be done with other scanners like iCarsoft.

It seems iCarsoft MB V3.0 facilitates SBC brake bleeding, are there any members who can verify this before I buy?
