The AMG Suspension R107 and W126 part numbers differ so be careful as they certainly wont work with a car with Self Levelling but maybe on an early car...

Good buy though mate.. If you hadnt, I would have!

Jay, yep, part numbers can be different, but little differs between 107 and 126 V8 cars....as you highlight, the SLS springs are the only real difference between a 126 and 107 as SLS springs are softer.

One can be fussy about these suspension sets for various engine types/settings etc, but with the w126 having such a crap suspension, it's pointless getting into fine tuning it. Just nice to have a little bit of extra stiffness in the setup that the AMG sets give....the AMG springs lower the car nicely and the AMG struts firm it up. That's just about all one can do with a w126/107/124 suspension.

i thought W126 and W123 front springs were longer than W115/R107 springs. Let us know if they do work as that would mean I can use W126 springs on my W115.
