Hi all,
I hope you're all well, I need your help please... I know there are Ferrari people on here who can help or will point me in the right direction....
A good friend of mine who is a classic American car collector inherited a 1971 246GT Dino over 20 years ago... I'm seeing it at the weekend but how he's described it is as below but with black leather and being a UK car in RHD
Due to him being an American collector, he has zero interest in the Dino and it has been stored in a dry barn with his other cars for near 20 years, he's said that it has been covered, on stands off the floor, windows slightly open, tyres deflated etc etc
He has bags of history and the original purchase receipt, again i need to see all this at the weekend...
So to cut a long story short until i know more... he wants me to do what i want with the car as such... Now i'm an out and out petrolhead as Pete will confirm and im not full of shxt... Keeping it is not an option but my 1st question is do i get it rolling and sell like that or do i sell it as a barn find....
I'm not about to try and start the engine after 20 years or get too involved getting it back on the road as it will take a full wallet.
So advice and pointers please guys and gals....
Cheers Greg
