What's the difference between EF and EFS, tried Googling it, no conclusive results. Go to a parts finder, some suggest both, others suggest only one of them.
Anyone know the facts?

Yes =-- The 6ES is hotter & better at burning off fouling in an old motor that's using a little oil.
Thank you, my concern was that one was resistance type and the other wasn't.
68000 miles on it, so I'll probably go forvthe 6ef. Before that, I'll see what currently fitted. Mot booked for 9th November, so it can wait,, as MOT has expired.
Thank you for your reply.

The resistor plugs usually have an R in the part #

To the best of my knowledge, NGK use a number to denote heat range. Six in this case - for both plugs.
