According to my internal temp gauge its minus 7 today although the BBC weatherman swears blind its 16 degree's.

Were is the external temp sensor on the CE220 as i think it needs changing and does anyone know how much they are ( Genuine mercedes parts only please )

Cheers

Matt

No idea of cost but it should be under your front number plate. Check it is first and give it a good clean. Something like this you could get form a scrappie or someone here on the forum surely?

The sensor is very likely to be poking out of a hole near a front foglight. It looks like a bullet or the pointy end of a pencil.

Be careful replacing it. It's very easy to bend one of the pins in the socket :o

Hi,
Early temp. sensors were incorporated in the cable assembly and are approx. £45 IIRC.
Later cars had a separate sensor and the sensor on its own is around £10-12.

Brilliant - Many thanks guys

Matt
