Think it's a gen II kit apart from front bumper which looks Gen I which is a shame. I guess it's a good spec too. Must be worth saving?

It may end up in Belgium Dash!! There is a breaker for Mercedes in Lokeren.
My brother takes the odd Mercedes scrapper over there in the back of his HGV as a return load.

Was after an S124 a few years back and got outbid at £1700 on the last seconds
I thought nothing at the time as someone must have needed it more than me but a week later was being broken in Germany

Dash, how easy would it be to source a replacement, proper front bumper?

I've mailed the seller and he reports a 5-speed auto - advert updated. However, I do not like the steering wheel and what's going on in the driver's foot well?

You might get lucky to finding a bumper but even if you do,it'll be £500+
The steering wheel says a lot about the cars past

Maybe I'm being unfair to the guy, but if the car was running fine one day and then another day 'it just wont start', thus implying it's something relatively minor wrong, surely it would have been worth his while fixing it. Unless of course it's something more major...
