Finally though it was time for a change, and am thinking seriously of saying goodbye to the old girl.

Private plate included (C140 MB as its a C140 type, and a Mercedes Benz.. looks a bit like Ciao MB...)
Meticulusly (sp?) looked after - all problems fixed asap.
newish CATs (1K)
New re-spray to cover small parking dings / scratches (see http://mbclub.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=17706&highlight=dent+doctored?)
New air con condensor (6 months ago)
new gearbox (18 months ago)
New power steering pump 1 year ago.

Memory seats (12 way) 3 settings.
memory mirrors, folding
self dipping rv mirror
Auto wipers
2 way heated seats
self closing doors and boot.
sunroof, tilt and slide (auto close on lock)
double glazing (auto close on lock)
newly serviced. new serp belt.
parking sensors front and rear (6 way front 4 way rear)
MB club pedals
Blaupunkt DAB 53 radio, with DAB, CD, MP3, and MMC reader / recorder. aux in for hands free telephone (may throw in as well, currently with 'pop-port' nokia setup and nokia 9500 communicator holder)
Focal Component 3 way speakers (not loud, just very very crisp and clear.)
alpine V12 amp - 30? watts per channel?
EPC and WIS discs thrown in.

bad bits:-
currently no hot air FLOW from vents - hot air, just no welly. am investigating.
front right parking sensor very occasionally falsy reports.
very very slight wind noise at 90mph+ from between windows.

176,000 miles. so just run in. Engine as smooth as silk. Its just done motorway miles, very little 'shops and back' stuff.

Located in Tring, hertfordshire. The last guy that drove it, who had just bought himself a 90k mile version, said to me 'yours drives SO much better than mine...'

Sensible offers please. Lets try £7,000

No FSH, cos I'm useless at paperwork, and managed to lose the service book. - just ask George Fraser about how I look after it.... But some paperwork availible.

Selling as new work needs a 4x4... and the CL has the ground clearance of a skulking cat...

hmm - appears that 7 is too much - considering the mileage - so 5K is the new price.

if you think this expensive to run - consider this:-

I get my tyres at 30 quid each - slight part worns from an audi servicing agent (ill divulge deatails to buyer).
22 MPG average. 24 if you use 97+ ocatne (seriously, i get 400 - 450 miles from a tank, from full to totally empty)
200 quid service from george fraser.

Sold.... to a good mate of mine...

To anyone considering one of these - go drive one. You will be amazed at the comfort, speed and bizzare agility of it - its like a stately home on a railtrack with a rocket up its b*m...
