2 weeks old e220 diesel convertible unwanted gift!! By ungreatful sole save thousands

It will be interesting if a no reserve auction of this value runs to the end.

There's also lots of bids (7 @ £25k) with more than 6 days to go.

Genuine seller...

Car trader, terrible feedback, somethings wrong.

Who in there right mind would ebay a car 2 weeks old that cost 43k with no reserve?

i smell something....

2 weeks old?wonder whether it's been in an accident and repaired, maybe fell off the transporter and sold on.unwanted present? BS.

Looking at the house it is a possible story, My Ex was bought a BMW 330 for her 21st but daddy got her the wrong colour so it was sold to get the right one.

If your going to take a risk on NO reserve, why not sell it back to the dealer?

Strange things happen.
How could it be seriously damaged and then completely repaired "inside of 2 weeks"? outside of the dealership network?
The dealers have probably got enough of their own stock not to want to purchase it back.
But I thought that there was some deal about returning cars but that may have been used cars with a problem within such and such time and or within such and such miles after sale.
Maybe HMRC bill falls due in January?
I suspect it wasn't for the daughter but SWMBO as a peace offering for a particularly unforgiveable transgression (purely my speculation). Probably now being sold so she won't end up with it as part of the settlement (again my speculation)?
Inside all funny stories there is usually a grain of truth struggling to get out.
No reserve auctions are not so much a risk if you "control" other bidders. I'm NOT saying that's what's going on here, but as we all know ebay has a reputation for shill bidding, and it has to be born in mind.

Many people use other locations/property for photos, so i wouldn't let that take you in.

He sold a red mini yesterday on ebay, could be the same as the one in the background.

The great thing about the internet is when there is a whole load of pure speculation without many facts or the effort to go and do some research.

Out of curiosity i've e-mailed the seller to try and get the full story.

Drivers seat looks a little saggy for 2 weeks old dont you think?

We were all waiting for someone else to make the effort - well done! But in order to make your earlier comment, I also speculate that you have relevent information that you've not posted yet.

He clearly says he is advertising for a friends... so they guy advertising may be a part time dealer..

Looks all ok to me... happens all the time... One of my cousins had his dad buy him a brand new M3 convertible... wasnt happy with colour of leather so took it back... lost around £10K in the process.

Looks like "Boycie's" house from Only Fools. A chance to meet Marlene and the Greate Dane. :D

I wouldn't touch that with anyone's barge pole.

One of his neutral feedbacks suggest unreported CAT-C damage on anther car...

It's entirely possible they didn't know - can take a while to get added to the register.

Scam if I ever saw one!!
