Hello,I'm a new member with a problem with the rev counter on my 2000 S500.It has stopped working & I wondered if it is a common fault.If so,is it a easy fix that I can deal with myself or is it best to take it to a specialist & what can I expect it to cost ? Thanks,Lawrence

They can be repaired normally. Plenty of info on google about companies that can.
