For sale is my 2004 Mercedes C55 AMG Estate in sliver.
The car has 99k on the clock with good service history.
It has been pleasure to own and drive for the last 18months but sadly due to getting a company car I am forced to sell it.
Let me start by saying the Car is unfortunately registered as a CAT C but THIS IS NOT due to accident damage but rather due to water damage to the engine from 2008. The engine was repaired by MSL in 2008 and the car returned to the road. MSL had then serviced the car until it was sold in 2010. I have a Dyno printout from them from 2014 showing a very healthy 316.07BHP at the wheels (MSL gave me a figure of 371.85BHP at the Crank) so a health engine output. The car has had 4 owners over the last 11 years and has low millage for its age.
it drives great pulls in every gear with no problems.
The work i have had done on the car is as follows: the Disc’s and Pads done all round, the front sus arms, the rear springs and a crank sensor.
It has Mercedes command with OE IPOD adaptor, NAV, heated electrical napper leather seats, electric sunroof, xenon lights, 18” wheels, Parrot phone adaptor and electric everything. Etc
To sum up the bad bits:
the bottom part heated seat on the driver’s side doesn’t work (very common problem) but the back part does.
The rocker cover seals are weeping a little oil (very common and not that expensive to fix)
And the body work in in need if a tidy up. There are stone chips to the bonnet and front bumper. There is a hole on the front bumper where a previous repair has come away and paint missing on the rear bumper. I must stress there is no Rust on the body work I,e. no rusting arches wings ect.
The wheels could do with a refurb and some new tires are required for the back but fronts are good.
I have reflected the work and the CAT’C aspect in the price as mint example would go for 10k + I am only looking for £5,900 OVNO. I won’t swap or PX as I have a company car so Cash only please.
