2004 Sl350

This one is absolutely stunning, Obsidian black lack with red leather. I don't know if this represents decent value but it seems to me like it does. I didn't realise new shape SLs were down at this sort of price. If I had a few more pennies in the bank right now I would be sorely tempted.

It is a mid 2004 registration but only 11500 miles and it has only been serviced once! 3 owners in total over 4.5 years and 11K miles makes me a little suspicious though.

Yes a nice looking car for reasonable money
The 350 dosn't get some of the kit (e.g. Airmatic) of the 500, but still a nice car.
Wonder what the interior damage is all about?
Mrs Mactech might enjoy this if the interior didn't clash with her hair....

I'd want to inspect it all very carefully, I'm not aware that repaired written-off cars tell you why they were recorded.

Cat D would worry me, picture evidence of what was wrong and whats been fixed? Insurance implications?

It is low miles, but some SL500's are cheap now and come with a good spec.

Certainly for the money on the drive it looks a 'lot' of car

I asked the seller about the Cat D damage, his response was simply
"Only seats no body damage"
I don't think he will sell it at that kind of price with uncertain damage and with only a curt response to a very important question. Having looked on the 'trader there are loads of sub £20K SL 350/500s around, some even at main dealers. None in that fantastic colour combo though.

This car is relisted, no suprises, having looked at SL prices this is way over the top - SL350, Cat D, dubious service history....... but potnetial buyers beware, he wont tollerate 'time wasters'! Quote ' you wont find another cheaper SL at this spec'. Oh but you will, maybe not distronic but that generally isn't at the top of buyers wants.
