Reason for Sale:

I have owned my lovely AMG since April 2013 after purchasing it from another MBCLUB forum member who had moved locally due to work commitments. It has been used as a second car during my ownership mainly spending most of her time garaged and being polished on the weekend. I had no intention of selling but after returning from being out of the country for a month recently I was about to take the car to MSL performance for a remap.
However I decided to take a trip to a local dealer where they had a couple of C63’s for sale - after a bit of an impulsive day I walked away with a Palladium Silver saloon with some IPE goodies! So sadly the C55 is up for sale and needs a good home, I genuinely would like to see her go to another enthusiast to enjoy and cherish.

As you can see from the pictures it is an honest low mileage car with original paint so has the odd stone chip commensurate with age, being a facelift W203 there is no rust on her at all and in my opinion is a fantastic looking car on the genuine 19" AMG IV's in Obsidian Black by far the best colour for the C55. It has been a very affordable fun performance saloon and surprising at how low the running costs are. I genuinely get stopped everywhere I go by people asking what it is and what a wonderful looking car it is and how amazing it sounds.

I have had all the usual common faults addressed leaking rocker cover gaskets, idler pulley replaced and also the crank position sensor.

Price:

With how rare these cars are I think it is a difficult car to value and most seem to have 75-100K on the clock, I am in no rush to sell as she can keep my C63 company in the garage and make the neighbours jealous although the Mrs wants the space for her impending Golf R arrival.

I am open to sensible offers and would hope she goes to MB enthusiast.

£12,000 ono
