2006 clk 200

I recently bought a 2006 CLK 200. I’m having an issue with the climate control. When I push auto and set the temp the system starts as it should but, it’s always blowing out warm air except when I put on the lowest 18deg setting then the air is cool. If I move it one notch up the air turns warm. I have to manually control the AC to get it working right. Help needed. Thanks

Have you really solved this, or was that as miss-click?

Is this thermotronic or thermomatic? - I don't have any problems with mine, but maybe it's not the same type; I can have a play and see if it behaves similarly though.

There's an aircon ECU reset procedure, Google it, might help.
