2007 AMG Wheels

It didn't take long for these replicas to appear, though I've only seen 3 sets and all by the same seller. I did consider them as they are VFM if they are as good as they look, but I'd like to see them in the flesh.

Much to my irritation I've curbed one of my wheels, but they are non-costly non-oems as well (they look like standard W211 5-spoke Avantgarde wheels, but they are 18's rather than 16's). I've been half looking to change them, but couldn't really justify this expense. I might try and 'tidy' the wheel up myself, but it's really not worth a refurb and the particular wheels now seems hard to come by. The way I see it, curbing is almost inevitable, so at least with these, you can afford to chuck one out!

Or maybe I'll just wait until some oem ones that are to my liking turn up (I'm not too overwhelmed with the level of detail on this particular listing).

When I say level of detail for the oem set - I guess I'm put off by the non-perfect feedback, the spelling, the fact that you can't see clearly see the surfaces of the wheels...and it would have helped if the tyres had been cleaned. There is an example of a better listing here. No use cos it's Stateside (asides from the seller asking top dollar.

Closer scrutiny of feedback reveals just a single neg from some one who has 3 to his name (don't you hate people like that!). So I may just query the condition further and keep an eye out in the perhaps over-optimistic hope that the price doesn't hit the roof!
