Mercedes E63 AMG wagon/estate For Sale

After a year of procrastination, I’m putting my much loved 2007 (57) Mercedes E63 AMG 7-seat estate up for sale. 514bhp, 7speed auto with paddles, 135,000 miles (still in daily use, so will change slightly), MOT Oct 2020. Full MBSH – a stack of receipts and always main dealer serviced. It’s the last of the naturally aspirated AMG’s with the incredible M156 6.2 litre v8.

This is the highest spec E63 I’ve seen in 4 years and 45k miles of ownership. It’s an ex-demo car from Mercedes, so they threw many toys at it. Stunning Designo ameretta napa leather, Designo roof lining, Designo graphite paint, Distronic radar cruise, front active/heated/massage seats (they change shape in corners), Airmatic, rare staggered AMG split rims with very good Continental tyres, Harmon Karmon Hi-Fi, bi-xenon’s with curve function, factory privacy glass, keyless go, 300kph (186mph) limiter etc…

Car has two modifications

- Fully adjustable toe/camber suspension arms by @Camberking. I fitted these as e63’s are well known for uneven tyre wear. Car is now perfectly aligned and this has completely resolved the issue. (Original suspension arms included). Front is currently lowered slightly with links/Star, but I can put it back up if required.

- Secondary cats and resonator removed from exhaust. Straight pipes and X-section hand made by the ever talented Bastech (www.bastech.nl). Cold starts and tunnels have never been so glorious! It’s loud, but not obnoxious, still perfectly well-mannered on the motorway. Original exhaust sections included, but once you hear it, you certainly won’t want to put them back in! Passes UK MOT emissions with no problems.

I bought the car originally as I was commuting back and forth between the UK and Germany. It was the perfect comfortable autobahn cruiser. New power steering pump recently and genuine front disks 10k miles ago (which is the most expensive maintenance part on these at over £600 each).

The car is in fantastic condition for its age and turns heads everywhere, but I list its faults here for completeness.
  • Bodywork. There are a few very small rust patches appearing on the rear arches
  • Some stone chips on the bumper/bonnet
  • Auto close on the boot sometimes doesn’t latch
  • The front keyless entry door handle buttons need replacing
Reason for sale: This is the genuinely the nicest most entertaining car I’ve ever owned and I really really don’t want to sell it, but I moved to Switzerland last year and the cost of importing the car on to Swiss plates is completely ridiculous! I am no longer allowed to drive it here as a UK registered car. As such, I’m pricing the car way below any other out there, as I would like an easy sale. Cheapest on Autotrader as I write this is £12995. Lower mileage, but nowhere near the spec. I am asking £11k, or £10.5k if you fancy a short flight and road trip back from Zurich with potential for Autobahn smiles (and yes, the Nürburgring is not a huge detour)... Otherwise I plan to drive the car back to the UK (Bungay, Norwich) 15th of Feb. This is easily the cheapest E63 estate for sale anywhere in Europe – as such, price is firm, and I will ignore any daft offers. Private plate will be removed – original plate is NX57LKJ.

The last photo was taken last week with it's Carlsson/Continental winter wheels/tyres fitted. These were brand new last year. Not included in sale, but we can negotiate if required.

Please private message me on here in the first instance (as you cannot reply to for sale threads on here), and we can chat further as required.
