2008 CLS LED Rear lights.

Hi I have a 2006 cls 320cdi with 28000 miles and in emmaculate condition and I was thinking of fitting the later led rear lights as an upgrade,I was wondering if you can buy them as a kit and what kind of price are we looking at.

Its an expensive mod, looking at over £300 for the lamps and another £100 for the custom wiring loom available from a guy off mbworld called 'Frenchy'

Also with LED units if any LED strip packs up, then you need to replace the whole unit as the LEDs and their control circuits are not replaceable. I had the indicator go on mine which required a new unit unlike the bulb versions.

The bulb version still needs the whole circuit board replacing, they're soldered on special bulbs, but not as drastic as the whole light unit granted.
