2011 Mercedes C250 CDI Sport Estate Gearbox

Hi All,

I was wondering if someone might be able to help me identify an issue with my car. On occasion, always when cold, the engine seems to rev high without any power. After about 100 yards (to the end of our communal drive) the gearbox (Auto) seems to shift then full I get power back.

I've advised Mercedes and they told me it was likely to have been caused by the recalled injectors. These have since been changed at my last service yet the problem still occurs.

The car was laid up for about 5 days last week and I saw the same problem again on first start.

Any thoughts would be greatly received.

I have 2010 250cdi and have the exact fault.
The MB garage kept my car for over a week ( last week) but cannot find the fault.

TC is slipping until the car gets warm

It's a pity that the OP never got back to say how it went.

Excuse my ignorance . TC - would that be traction control?
If that is the case what would be the solution?

Think the TC referred to would be the torque converter.

MB kept the car for a week but as it is an intermittent fault, they could not find the problem.DRove the car a couple of times , no prblem. However, same symptoms when starting the car after it had not been driven for 48 hors AND the temperature had dropped to minus overnight,
DOES THE WEATHER HAVE ANY CONNECTION , I WONDER ?
Anyone with similar problems?

Yes, they do this when cold. If power then restores, its absolutely fine.
