2013 C250CDI Coupe AMG Sport Plus Audio 20

Hi All

I'm expecting delivery of my new C250CDI Coupe AMG Sport Plus (Auto) in March, but I wonder if you could clarify something with the default Audio 20 Radio/Speakers please?

I note they have 8 speakers - does this include a subwoofer at all?

Nope. Sound is pretty good for a standard car and has enough bass for me.

Hey,

I drove one of these yesterday when I took my car in for a service, very good sound system for the "basic" sound system, it's got more than enough bass through the standard speakers.

Doesn't come with a sub, but I really don't think you need one!

Where are they located?

Bass/mid for each passenger. Bass/mid usually on door card and tweeter around ear level. A-pillar area at front and side card at rear.

In my C Saloon, there is one in each door, I think there is a strip at the front (dash board) and back (behind rear seats)? But not 100% on that.

Cool - thanks guys and agreed. It did sound really good when I test drove it recently.

It's the one thing the a5 has that's better then - although no dab as standard on that!

I have a 2011 coupe and although I have a grill for speakers along the back shelf I have none!

lol - Yes I think the grills in the front and back centre are reserved for the Logic 7 setup.

I'm not fussy as long as the sound is good quality!

i have harman kardon logic7 system on 2012 c 250 coupe.it has extra speakers on rear shelf plus a subwoofer and an extra speaker on the middle of dashboard.the sound is better then standart audio20 but not a superior .because when you turn volume up deep bass notes stays the same level.so the sound color changes
it is not a big loose for you.i think it is a better idea to add a 4 ch amplifier plus a powered subwoofer.i think this will sound better then haman kardon sound exept the logic7 thing which makes the sound come out of the speakers right to te midde of the car.first i didnt like it but now my ears used to it.
