230CE water pump

Hi I have a 230CE 1984 and I've had water coming from below the water pump I have ordered the pump from [FONT=verdana, courier new,courier,tahoma,sans-serif]DRONSFIELD and I'm going to attemp to fit it myself over the weekend any advice would be appreciated as I'm trying to sell it.

Its a straight forward job and nothing special to change the pump

I did this job years ago on a W123....on the 280ce I think I had to take the crank pulley off to access the water pump bolts if i remember rightly.

Dunno if it would be the same on the 230CE

I would have gone for a proper reconditioned/new one since the hassle of replacing the pump is much greater than the cost of a replacement. Thats assuming you can still get them thro the normal channels of course!

They are still made and they are using the metal impeller again
