260se 126 running problems

Hi all, hope you can help, i have just bought a lovely 126 model 260 se, had her a few months and she started spluttering at low revs, then as the revs increased no problems. This came and went for a bit then she stopped and wont start, when i turn the ignition on i can here a low buzzing noise from the rear in the fuel pump area, is it a knackered fuel pump or is the relay playing up, help i want to drive her again the landrovers bloody uncomfortable!!!!
