There is something terminally wrong wit the car. Sufficient testing has been done according to the buyer and I bet they know why it won't work and why it is better to sell the car. If it was a small probelm then it would be fixed and sold for much more.

What a shame it's gotten to be in that condition. I must say, i'd be inclined to keep it and (try!) and get her running, engine rebuild and the bodywork made to good order over time. Could be worth a few quid once done Dash.

It doesn't look too bad to me Alright the front bumpers a bit of a mess, but it doesn't look dented at all & even the arches look pretty good. Obviously the underneath is where there could be trouble, but (& it could be a big but!), if it were solid its possible it could be on the road & running again with the help of a decent mechanic.
