40mpg E63?

Oh dear. I just did a little bit of sick into my mouth :(.

Why do people do this? The E350 is a very respectable car in its own right. Obviously the former owner was a little under-endowed in the trouser department..

Cheers,

Gaz

A sheep in wolves clothing.

It's got about the same amount of torque...

Leave those horrible badges off and the car would be OK.

Agreed - as a modded 350 it's ok, as an imitation E63, it's avin a laff.

I've had both powerunits, one directly after the other and I can tell you, similar torque or not, they are chalk and cheese on the road.

I mean what is the point of wrongly badging a car for gods sake, Ill never know !!!!!

Just a stab in the dark but it could be that the owner wants to be seen driving a more exclusive car than he owns. Something along these lines.

I guess not everyone can afford to own/run/insure an E63

Not saying it's correct, but it will make someone's dream almost come true lol

Agreed there are those that like to tell their mates they've got an AMG when they haven't (even though half the Merc line up seem to be called AMG now but that's another thread :D), but there are those for whom this is the nearest they will get.

I wonder what he's done with the E350 CDI badges?

Wouldn't mind them on the back of mine. :)

I once had a BMW E36 M3 Evolution and some guy walked up to me in a car park once and said it was a fake and why did I bother badging a standard BMW to look like an M3...

I only had to show him 'M Power' stamped on the engine but educated him on what made it a genuine M3.

Takes all sorts I suppose.

It does take all sorts...

But I think when you know what you've got under you hood you don't need to prove nothing to nobody:cool::cool::cool:

On many occasions buffoons have commented how my 63 is a well tarted up diesel:doh:

I just agree with the Funkin Baskets:eek:

Just makes life so much easier:wallbash:

E200 would be better :D

Hey, it's more than just badges, he seems to have fitted the quad exhausts too. Why oh why he would do so I don't know, but hey...
