5.8 inch screen upgrade

Hi,

Is it possible to upgrade the 5.8 inch screen with old software to a 7 inch screen with Command software?
If anyone can help with this answer, will be mostly appreciated.

It's not that simple, the display type is paired with the infotainment unit.

You'll need to also replace your Audio20 system with COMAND if you want the bigger screen. It's doable, but not cheap.

Another option is an Android based system (not genuine MB) that will come with a larger screen.

Thanks for your reply. Is this something Mercedes can do? I asked a parts advisor at Mercedes the other day via email and he said that they don’t really advise it but maybe he didn’t know too much.
