50 APS CD Satnav E Class W211

My 2004 E Class 50 APS CD version 2.1 is long in the tooth and unaware of many new roads, i.e. M6 Toll etc. I want to upgrade it with new CD's. I understand that the 2007 V5.0 is the latest, however I was quoted £229.00 from my dealer. Seems a lot for a couple of CD's. Does anyone know of other sources. It would appear that the E Class is out of step with all other models too and the CD's are bespoke to the model.

I'm looking for assistance as per my post. I appreciate you tidying up but I am no better informed now than I was before I posted. Unfortunately I have, as explained, a 50 APS system, not COMAND. Therefore your assertion that I have already had the response I need is surprisingly presumptuous and, I might say, disappointing considering the clarity of my post!!
I appreciated the response from Godot, but yours, with respect, provided no added value.

I would assume command.co.uk is refering to retrofitting as its a complete pain in the stones to do on the w211 compared with other models.

The person that runs comand.co.uk is called Alfie on this forum and as far as i know is a teleatlas reseller so thus he may be able to help you with the Audio 50 discs.
