Hi
New to the forum , hello to all. Was wondering on two things needing a little guidance. My 500 sel is deciding not to start no fuel getting to the engine , it sounds as if there is a pump priming when the ignition is first switch on , however it is not the pump beside the filter by the rear diff ? are the fuel pumps prone to failure, gave it a very short spray of easy start and it cought straight away so know the ignition is fine.
Secondly was puzzled as to what the car would be worth if i was to change it for a newer , possibly more dependable? model. It was made in 1984 its a b reg , the car was at the uk motor show that year, full 4 electric grey leather seats , ac abs yet only 32k from new. all its previous history has been from mb dealers. Also one rear window mechanisim needs attention , are these easy diy replacement please?
Sorry for the questions , just hoping someone can shed some light on them for me , many thanks![Smile :) :)](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png)
