Hi
Is that the troublesome Adaptive Damping System or whatever its called??
230K
I only followed the link to check on that grill and you're right, it's not bad!I like the new SL style grill, lifts the car a bit me thinks in terms of age.
It looks like someone's tried to put it on backwards or something but it makes me wonder if the car has been towed recently...Whats up with the the front tow hook cover though ?
I was just going on the black boxes on top of each shock absorber in the engine bay pic.
The reason for the grill and lights are he had an accident nearly 2 years ago, went into the back of someone.
At least he is up front about it.
Doesn't look to me like it's got ADS.
ADS isn't particularly troublesome (seems more reliable than the suspension on the R230 and CL, for example). But it is expensive to fix IF it goes wrong.
Incidentally that ad. is full of the usual eBay rubbish e.g. "originally cost over £100,000" (no way), "production of this particular type was stopped in 06/1993" (what?), etc.
Not sure what's with the fixed aerial on the o/s rear wing. Wheels are replicas, obviously. It's had the later clear indicators and side repeaters fitted.
Agree - cost 74k in 1993- 100k is a bit ambitious -don't see what extras this car has to cover the 26k extra claimed.
No pictures of the soft top?
an electrically operated canvas roof
