Hello all. So my 2013 S204 with 7G+ is now at 10 years old in my capable hands for servicing.

Mr Car Assyst plus and Mercedes Myservice web page disagree on what service it is. I'm inclined to go with the Mercedes service page. Anyway it's calling for a B9 service with added air filter, fuel filter, Brake fluid change but interestingly it's also calling for Auto Trans service.

Now the reason I question this is that it had its second gear box service 2 years ago (service before last) and that was only 22k ish miles ago. Surely it's not due again yet. I was under the impression it was something like 50k miles or 5 years whichever comes first. I mean up to this point it's only asked for it twice in almost 10 years.

Anyone confirm?

Il be doing the rest of the service myself and will be taking advantage of the top mounted oil filter by using an oil extractor to keep it quick n clean.

Think it is 5 years/50k miles. Note some territories have differing limits - for example with the 9G the ROW (EU) cars are 75k miles/no time limit but NAS are 75k/5years. Don't know where you are in UK, but at the time I went to an MB Specialist in Nottingham with our SLK and they knew what they were doing and significantly cheaper than an MB garage. Supsect a reputable MB Independant will be able to provide you the right answer?

Don’t even bother doing it for another 3 years or 20-30k miles .

Get a main delaer quote - this is for my 2013 w204, the correct schedule is every 5years/77.5k

That's not a bad price considering the amount Iv work involved. That said I'm sitting on 99k miles with 2 services already last one being 23 months ago so il hangon fir at least another year.

Will they accept doing just a stand-alone service on the gearbox and nothing else?
