Th 525hp SL73 didn't appear until 1998 - whether the alleged (Wikipedia) 1995 version ever existed I don't know. No-one I know has ever seen one - either in a photo or the flesh.

It's an early engine at any rate - later versions had coil packs between the inlet manifolds.

No, although the SoB did have a couple of SL730s made.

Jeremy Clarkson tested one on the old Top Gear.... It was in Designo Metallic Orange, had a facelift AMG kit, and was LHD....
