95' W124 E500 Te

Very intresting vehicle I found while on the net - I would definatly take it over the saloon E500 - Its probably a custom job, I dont think they made any 500 Wagons (although I stand to be corrected).

Possibly it was a standard TE sent off to AMG for modification? Looks to have the following mods:

Exterior:

- E500 Engine (although no pics of it)
- E500T AMG Badging
- E500 Front & Rear arches
- 17" EVO II Alloys
- AMG Bodykit
- E500 Front Bumper
- E500 Headlights
- Avantguard grille
- Porsche brakes & Vented discs
- Performance exhaust system

Interior:

- AMG Steering Wheel
- Recaro?? Seats & Electrics
- Custom wood console

Its only done 31,000km, and its on Yahoo auctions (lost the link) around 13,000GBP. Here is the link to the photos:

Hmm yeah, see the Yahoo Japan Auctions, found it on there today but cant seem to find it now.

According to a merc enthusiast article on I think the W124 E60 Limited, there were a few E500 TE's sent to AMG - never seen one before now - very rare, though not impressed with the cup holder? above the headlamp switch.

Those are the top-of-the range Recaros which cost £1200 each. Plus leather retrimming. Plus £220 each for the subframes

Recaro had that "German Premium Pricing" thing off pat. The UK importers (Wood & Pickett at one time) played the game pretty hard as well

Still they do make the best road car seats!
