'98 W202 ignition switched live at rear of car? Antenna amp maybe?

When I change the head-unit in my W202 the new one will have DAB and needs it's own antenna which comes with a booster, all this is fine and I can deal with it no problem, have done ICE installs many times over the years.

I know the car has a rear screen antenna with it's own amp which I don't want to mess with as I think it also deals with remote locking reception but it would be handy if that amp is ignition switched because then i can feed the new amp from that rather than running a line from the front of the car and dealing with possible voltage drop etc.
So does anyone know where it is? In one of the c pillars or under the parcel shelf maybe?

I believe the antenna amplifier is behind the top of the nearside C-pillar trim panel.
