SPR Autos, Stockport seems to be a well-regarded Indie, and from 17:00 take us through the hidden horrors of a superficially reasonable-looking motor.

I have run mine almost everyday since May 2016. It cost me about £600 last year on various suspension arms etrc...not ABC related.

The wheels on that car are the standard 17" from the factory.

That's a parts car......I certainly would not have given £1500 for it......But with some time and effort stripping it there should be a small profit in it.....but that depends how much you value your time. Id be selling it whole and hoping to get most of my £1500 back from some mug lucky punter!

How much will the video be worth to him?

Has this particular Youtuber never watched any internet content on this very car ..!?

The mind boggles that he thought at £1.5K he had any chance on making a penny. One plus side is that it can at least make it to the scrap yard under it's own steam therby saving the cost of a flat bed.

It's a heavy car , might be lucky to get £250 for it.

With 75,000 views in less than 24h he has probably made over £1k already , add in pre / post / in video advertising and the car will have cost him nothing in less than a day and he still has the car.

Oh , and what about the "merch" revenue ??

No wonder so many people are turning to YT for a full time income.

Yep....my son is 14....but already makes a good few quid on YT from ads and he just games (mainly Fortnite).....and others watch him gaming and commenting on new games etc. Funny old world.

I heard its around half a million to make $1000 . But if he gets high end advert revenue or does something cost free and intresting he will probably make his £1.5K back . Eventually.

One of mine does it buying and selling 'trainers' (most of us would not be seen dead in) , quite lucrative if you focus on a particular genre . Yup , funny old world.

For AdSense, to start earning money from YouTube creators must have 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours in the past year. That qualifies them to get a split of the ad revenue that comes from their videos.

Yep. My nephew tells me that Matt makes far more from his YT channel per month than his used car sales business. Good on him (and others). What a fab way to make a living. 👏👏👏

I'm not surprised given how often he 'massively overspends' on the cars ....🙄😀

i will refrain from commenting on a video about a scrap car.
