A class lighting

Hi looking for some info pls

Car A Class

When the key fob at night is pushed the side lights come on (welcome lights), but when we go to lock the car (at night) all the lights go out, I thought the welcome lights came on and remained on for about 30 sec's ????
Can anyone advise pls

a) Surround lighting turns on the lights when you unlock the car if its dark
b) Headlamp delayed switched off, exterior lighting stays on after you shut the door if its dark
There's also interior lighting delayed switch off

I suspect A is on but B is off. Set it in the settings -> lighting menu in the instrument cluster

Do you know how to get into the system to do a reset etc?. If not here's how. It is very simple.......

1) Turn ignition key to position 1, you have to see your trip meter

2) Press the reset button 3 times short after each other

If you do something that you didn't want to do and not sure how to get out of this situation. Simply turn off the ignition and start again.

Ooops wrong info to get into settings sorry

You need to use the file up and down buttons on steering wheel and navigate to the message about reset.

Once there you can navigate into setting for lighting etc.
