Our trusty W202.
My wife had to do an emergency dash to the supermarket tonight. Tommorrow is local election day so apart from all the locals arguing, eating fish, drinking Ouzo and casting their vote, the shops will all be closed.
Opposite our house, across the road is a ditch. It's about 450mm deep and about 300mm wide. My wife reverses off the drive and promptly reverses into the said ditch.
Of course it is the ditches fault for being there and has been there for as long as we have been in the house. Her words not mine.
Whilst we are contemplating what to do and helped along by several local Greeks, our local olive press owner pulls up in his 4X4. He promptly does a handbrake turn in the road, slings a strap-type-thing around something under the car and yanks it out..ooer!!
After much applause from the gathering crowd, I had a quick spin and found out there was no damage at all.
I love my Merc.
