Saying good-bye for a while!

Hi All

For those who care (!!) my wife and I are about to begin our stay in Russia which lasts a couple of months, so my posts will be thin on the ground for a while!

But, if I spot any interesting cars (especially Russian MBs!) I'll drop in a thread and photo while away (we have laptops and a conection, so I will try and keep up with the latest stuff when we're not on the road in our trusty Nissan ) !!

So, have a great summer everyone and look after those Benzes!!

LOL!!! Actually wouldn't be that hard thinking about it! But, no, no such glamour! My wife and coincidentally, my mother, come from there and we have a summer house in a beautiful place called Vladmir - our place is in the middle of the forrest with rivers and lakes all around, sooooo peaceful! (shame about the mossys though! )

I was in Moscow last year and saw many beautiful Mercedes, but the most outrageous of all were the Maybach Taxi's finished in Black & Orange.

Moscow is just a fantastic city although St.Petersburg is both nicer, cleaner and more beautiful!

Uzbekistan is quite interesting too (if any one cares....).

Totally agree about St Petersburg! Peterhof is amazing and the whole place has a far friendlier feel than Moscow!!!

No never. Usually its inside of Moscow ring or St.Petersburg (sometimes also Murmansk and a few other places in the Baltics + Ukraine).

I can bet that it's beautiful place though..... Russia has so much to offer. One place I always wanted to go to is Siberia and the Russian Far East (ie Vladivostok). Perhaps one day....

As a note, I am very very interested in Russian history, and coming originally from Sweden, it's like night and day considering the old days when I remember seeing the way life was and how free we were.... sad but true and should never be forgotten I think.
