A unicorn has joined the stable at Chez Daz

I wouldn’t usually post about the comings and goings in the fleet at Chez Dazz, but I make the very occasional exception when there’s something I think members will be particularly interested in. Here’s the latest.

A CLK GTR Roadster will nestle between the Mark 2 Astras. Unfortunately i had to sell the Smart to scrape together enough money, but this was a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a real unicorn car.

I'm so pleased I read the subsequent posts before I did, or I would have shown you all just how daft I really am.

You’re the only one to spot the rather obvious April Fools Day joke - there’s no way that I could let the Smart ForFour AMG Black Series Night Edition Premium Plus 125 Navi facelift Powered by Brabus,.

The Smart ForFour AMG Black Series Night Edition Premium Plus 125 Navi facelift Powered by Brabus is a true one of one, whereas there are five more CLK GTR Roadsters, so I could always find another.

The dealer I bought the CLK GTR and bought it to Donington for me today said they have a German collector lined up for the Smart whenever I decide to part ways with it, although I have no plans for now.

If you mean Matthew then I I know he had a CLK DTM Cabriolet, but I didn't realise that he had a CLK GTR Roadster. This was his DTM at Brooklands.

As above, I’ve been on the forum for over twenty years and I can’t remember anyone having one of these, even our very own Mr Bobby Dazzler!

Maff’s CLK DTM came to BOTG once. He used to really use it - I think he took it on track, got peppered in stone chips so had it resprayed to make it perfect again
