A124/R129 roof switch

Hi guys
Today my roof switch was a bit stiff and I ended up breaking the red bit on top.
Question is, will an R129 or R230 switch fit, as there are some on eBay but not A124.

I'm guessing that the 129 switch will fit the 124. I know they were available at main dealers a few years ago, but you can't just buy the red bit from them, it's a whole new switch they will sell you!

I think it'll fit, although am not 100% sure. I looked at quite a few 129s before my A124, and they look the same to me.

many parts in w124 convertible cae from w129 model certianly the switches mirror controls the sun visors to speak of a few however controllers and sensors i believe are unique to w124.

but the roof switch same as w129 i opened one today and part no is w129xxx

Dammit, I wish you'd posted that last weekend!

Never mind I got one for £13.95 so no big deal.
It is a 129 part no though.
