I need to make the most of this as I will undoubtedly get beaten soon. :D :D :D :D

Managed to bang in a 11.80s pass yesterday down Shakespeare County Raceway.

It appears to be the quickest time to date recorded in the UK for an A45, on a proper drag strip.

If you want to know the details, have a butchers at the latest update on my project thread. :)

Told you it could be done with your power !

Your making me miss days when I used to go to the strip after mods to see my 1/4 mile time.

How did you sort out your traction issue or was it sorted with a new pair of tyres

Thanks chaps. :)

BenzedUP,
I have.... but the content is a bit gash tbh. I haven't got the winning run either unfortunately. :(

SquabzZz,
I've still got traction issues....... dropping front pressures by a shedload helped me out though. It's still an area I need to look at.

Wow very nice.

Amazing that you have traction issues. Is it a proper 4wd system or a haldex job?

Grovsie31,
I wish it was full-time 4WD.... well, at least for launching. :D It's MB's version of the VAG Haldex system.

The Torsen differential is IMHO the most effective at sending the power where it needs to go..

Don't suppose for a momnent it's available as an aftermarket fit thhough...

It's an American company that makes them and they appear to be opretty bullletproof. That being said, I did see the system that was exactly the same described in the 1910 edition of "The Engineer"...

Nothing new under the sun..
