A45 or GLA 45 AMG

Looking to get a small four wheel drive car for my mum.

She likes mercedes and loves my C63 so another AMG makes sense, I think...

It's between the a45 and gla45 but unsure which one.

A45s a fair bit cheaper and offers same, if not more than the GLA.

She wants to buy from a merc dealer for peace of mind but most a45's will have around 2 years warranty left anyways.

I've looked at diesel ML's and GLE's but seem boring and expensive to an a45.

Any alternatives anyone can offer and what would be essential options on the A45?

Was thinking Black or white with the 19" wheels and red calipers as a minimum

I like the GLA. They're a bit rarer. Bit more space and a little higher up. 19" wheels & red calipers are standard too.

If she likes the A45 then is the RS3 not worth a look?

A45! We really struggle to sell the GLA 45, so I think residuals on the A45 will be stronger going forward. Also the GLA45 is a bit ugly compared

A45 but then I'm biased,much more involving/drivers car,sounds better and will hold it's used value better.

That's a current used car offer, but it only applies to A, C and E :fail

Decided on a CLA45 from MB, Looking for a high spec so will have to be new from factory. No high spec ones on used car market.

With the spec I'm after it's around £52,000. What sort of discount should I be aiming for from MB?

Going down a 0% interest route so will be 50% down..

I'm guessing an April build slot will be a facelift CLA45 with revised power and transmission?
Will be spec'n the new front diff with adjustable dampers among other stuff.

What spec you going for? Interestingly mine was around the 52 mark but i feel i got a pretty good deal on it as it was already built.

You'l love it! I'm 2500 down in just under 3 month with no work commute!

Cirrus white or maybe black,
19" black multispokes,
AMG exclusive pack,
Performance exhaust,
Red calipers,
Command online,
Intelligent light system,
Mirror pack,
Pan roof,
Reversing camera,
AMG dynamic package plus

Will be adding a few more options possibly.

AMG dynamic pack plus adds the new locking diff on front axle, damper control and race mode I think.

Car will be for my mum but I'll try to use it as much as possible

Not facelift, just revised power. The facelift CLA and GLA models should arrive in the autumn
