Active Bonnet Malfunction - How to reset ?

W205 Coupe 2017

Car had a little hit on the bumper and the active bonnet error is showing on the display.

I have open the bonnet fully up and back and then closed ... the bonnet sits as it should but the error is still on.

Any ideas how to clear? Does it need to be hooked up to star?
