Adaptive lights issue

Hi All

I have an issue with my adaptive lights on my E350 Coupe 2012, when turned on they used to rise up and then then adjust to the correct position but the lights almost seem to be stuck in a downward position, they try to rise but nowhere near as much as they used to.
I have cleaned the sensor area on the windscreen and still they are too low, when cornering the lights operate horizontally as they should it just seems to be the height.

Any tips/ideas anyone?

Regards

Nick

Windscreen sensor simply tells them when to come on.
The height adjustment is controlled by level sensors on the front and rear suspension. If one or other fails the lights default to low to avoid dazzling other drivers.
Not sure where exactly they are on your model but have a look around, you might well see a broken sensor arm, just hanging.
